Lorenzo’s family lives, preserving their ancestral ways of life. Their houses are built traditionally, using materials like Chuta leaves for roofing, a craft passed down through generations. You’ll experience what it’s like to live sustainably and harmoniously with the environment.

Connection to Nature

You’ll experience nature the way it was meant to be—untouched, untainted, and wild. The Cabécar family, with no formal education, have preserved their land with love and dedication. They collect seeds, prevent deforestation, and monitor their land with cameras to protect it from illegal hunters. As you walk their land, you’ll sense the deep reverence they hold for the earth.
